Title: Bush backing-up in Baghdad, as Israel moves ahead

RAIN

Reminiscent of the Bush methods in Afghanistan, where
the violence continues to flair-up and only the capital has
some sibilance of democratic control – the capital of Iraq
now has Bush's attention. If not similar problems of Bush
related military strategy. Can't really blame Bush though,
he thought is was going to be just a "cake-walk." Hillary,
apparently, did as well, as did most Democrats, and all of
the Republicans. Doesn't appear to have been too good of
an idea to have taken the focus off of Afghanistan - or off
of Iran. Looking like this country is in great need of some
independent political thoughts and discussion. Not the old
90's Democrat line and certainly no more of the past GOP
disasters that have plagued this country since 2000. If not
Congress since 1994, or brokered contracts on Americans.
Granted - it was the Republican's idea to shut down all the
federal government – just to score political points for their
party. But then, by the same token, Bill did let the GOP on
board his ship-to the 21st century - while they raped, stole,
and plundered national security under the guise of that trial
called, "impeachment." Oh well - at least we got Fox-news
out of the deal. The network where truth, lies in the balance
and anything else neo-conservative, or war-like, that can be
factored in their 24-hour news cycle. And we got unlimited
Republican majority cronyism – along with just a few copy
cat Democrats. Who would have fared better by staying on
the porch. So if you really think Bush honestly won not one
but two elections, then I guess we got the bed we made and
we'll have to ride out this 2-year hurricane called politics as
Bush backs-up in Baghdad, seeing Vietnam in his rear-view.

PSALM 72 – "A Psalm for Solomon."
-
4 He shall judge the poor of the people,
he shall save the children of the needy,
and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
-
6 He shall come down like rain
upon the mown grass: as showers
that water the earth.
-
13 He shall spare the poor and needy,
and shall save the souls of the needy.
-
14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit
and violence: and precious shall their blood
be in his sight.
-
16 There shall be an handful of corn in the
earth upon the top of the mountains: the fruit
thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of
the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.

HAIL

As Bush backs-up in Baghdad, Israel moves ahead with
its seemly harsh bombing of the city of Lebanon. Some
10-to-15 thousand Americans still appear to remain there.
Some working at their jobs, others just to remain close to
a loved one. As more innocent men, women and children
die on both sides of a now obliterated border. Without an
end in sight. No grass will flourish - on either side of this
age old battle for dirt, and the rite of ownership. Praise be
only to instruments of death and destruction. Sorrow and
hate under the guise of defense. Under the lies of projects.
By the hands of cowards that have others fight their cause.
Be it Bush. Be it Iran. Be it Israel. Be it others in the land.
Even a child can see a lie through tears. Even a blind man
can hear bombs dropping outside his door. Even, a sinner
can pray. Even a Rabbi can swear. Any soul can prayer at
the side of a tank, or a rocket. Many will cry at their wall.
It's clear, by design, that this fight is to be long, hard and
in many neighbors yard. Goodbye progress, hello misery.
Can we ride out this 2-year hurricane called political war,
as Bush backs-up in Baghdad and tells Israel to go ahead?
