Title: Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald blew-it on Rove

It now appears that special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald may
have blew-it when he prematurely decided, that White House
senior aide Karl Rove - would not face any additional - review,
much less prosecution, for his role in this President's directive
to vice-president, Dick Cheney's office. Bush directed that the
vice-president, "take personal charge" of a media campaign to
"discredit" one former ambassador who had written an op-ed
piece, published in the N.Y. Times - acussing the White House
of "twisting prewar intelligence" on Iraq. This would have been
part of Karl Rove's "domain" and unlikely something that Bush
would have passed on to VP Cheney without Rove's knowledge,
or input. The National Journal published just this week that Mr.
Bush took a personal interest in countering damaging allegations
by former ambassador, Mr. Joe Wilson. Proof of a "Rove-agenda"
that was extraordinarily sensitive to any criticism of their prewar
planning for their March 2003 invasion & now occupation of Iraq.
